Yield: 3 Persons
Prep time: 20 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes

Ingredients :

  • Onion – 1 large (Finely Chopped)
  • Garlic cloves – 4 ( Crushed)
  • Ginger – ½ tsp ( grated)
  • Coconut /Sunflower oil – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp

  • Cinnamon Stock – 1
  • Yoghurt / Curd – 250 gms
  • Coriander Leaves – 3 tbsp ( Chopped)
  • Salt – to taste

How I do it :

Marinate the chicken with 1 tbsp Curd and ½ tsp salt. Leave it atleast 1 hour

Heat oil in a  Wok. Add Onion and fry until they become soft. Add the Ginger , Garlic, Mustard seeds, Garam masala, Coriander and Cumin  powder and cook for 2 minutes

Add the chicken and flip slowly so that the chicken is cooked properly in the Masala’s. Add water/ Chicken Stock and cook it covered for 15-20 minutes ( depending on the tenderness of the Chicken).

Now add the remaining curd/ Yogurt and cover and cook again for 5 min. Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve hot with Rice

Special Instruction :

Curd should be at room temperature and not very sour.

You can skip marination if running out of time.
